Explain there are parts in this song that are echoes. An echo means to repeat what you just heard. Play the song again and invite students to be the echo.
Remind the students a refrain is a repeated section at the end of each phrase or verse in a song. Teach the students the refrain.
Direct students to learn “Rockin' on the Housetop”.
Divide the class in half, assign Part 1 and Part 2, and invite the students to perform the song.
Optional: Teach the harmony parts.
