Teach the song "In and Out" by rote while students pat a silent beat on their laps.
Play the song and invite students to sing along and pat the beat.
ASK In our song can you hear a high sound and a low sound? Play the song again and have the students sing the words and mirror you as you pat the high pitch (sol) on your shoulders and the low pitch (mi) on your waist.
Invite students to sing the song again, and this time challenge them to tap the words.
